It's an interesting lead problem from the East hand at this point. I'm really not sure what the right lead is, maybe the stiff diamond. I know, however, that the right lead is NOT the
A. Which is, coincidentally, the card the guy actually led. Probably the single worst lead I've ever seen. Oh but they're not done. East continues his heroics by switching to a spade into the jaws. I win my
Q and play the
J to the
A and cash the
K, discovering the good news. I then led a small diamond off dummy and West ducked the
Q. Not that it really mattered at this point, since on the lead I have the coldest top in the history of mankind. So I cash my
A, play back to the
K and run the clubs for a show-up squeeze against West for the
K.
