The Observatory is open to the public on the 5th and 20th of each month.

Nov-Apr 8pm
The evening begins with a short presentation by a department astronomer. The talk is followed by observing if weather permits.

- Astronomy/Space Camps: Looking for an out of this world adventure? Now is the time to look for and apply for astronomy and space camps!
- 29 Apr, 10am-4pm -- Marryland Day 2006: Campus Open House. Astronomy Dept activities will be in front of the Math Building.

- Teachers! Troop leaders!! Do you want to bring your class or scouts to the observatory to see the sky? We have two programs -- a day program (safely observe the sun) and night programs. Please email Elizabeth soon or call at 301-405-6555. You cannot just show up! Details about Group Programs.
