Sean is interested in investigating the behaviors of magnetized astrophysical plasmas. His current research project focuses on the study and numerical simulation of black hole accretion disks, while previous work examined the evolution of AGN jets and relic bubbles in galaxy clusters.

Sean received his Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
