My research interests are solar radio astronomy, space physics and plasma physics. Currently I am studying the wave phenomena associated with interplanetary shocks and various radio bursts. For these studies, I use the wave measurements obtained by the Unified Radio and Plasma Wave Experiment (URAP) on ULYSSES spacecraft.

I received my Ph. D., from Bangalore University, Bangalore, India in 1988. I also hold a facaulty position at Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, INDIA.
