Mark Ugalino is a first-year graduate student who specializes on computational astrophysics and high performance computing. He works with Professor Benedikt Diemer on magnetohydrodynamical (MHD) simulations of galaxy formation. He previously worked on computational studies of type Ia supernovae and theoretical formulations of dynamical friction in gaseous environments.
