I am secretary (i.e. organizer) of two projects for the International Astronomical Union aimed at astronomically developing countries: the International Schools for Young Astronomers and Teaching for Astronomy Development. I retired 1994 after 25 years of "service", mostly developing and teaching introductory astronomy (ASTR 100).
