Spotted Redshank. La Capelière, Camargue, 3/28/07. This life bird is distinguished from Common Redshank (in winter plumage) by the prominent white supercilium (eyebrow) and red color at the base of the bill that is restricted to the lower mandible (not easily seen in this photo).
