Slide 54 of 304: IMG_6250.JPG Little Gull. Mediterranean Sea, 2/3/07. A life bird, one of the few species seen on our ferry crossing from Nice to Calvi, Corsica. Not a great photo, but you can see the dark undersides of the wings. That plus the white border on the upper-side trailing edge of the wings (not visible in the photo) indicates this species, given its range.
