Northern Harrier (male). Stes-Maries-de-la-Mer, 2/11/07. Here's another bird I thought was a lifer (Hen Harrier) until I realized it's the same species as the Northern Harrier of North America. An adult male like this one is sometimes appropriately called a "Gray Ghost".
