Slide 70 of 112: IMG_6484.JPG Bonifacio is an extraordinary city built on white cliffs that plunge into the ocean. You can't see the cliffs from this angle (they're on the left, i.e. the south side), but you can see the magnificent citadel towering over everything. Our hotel was inside the citadel, in the old city.
