Our hotel room in Arles, part of an historic house once used by nobles of the city. That wall over the bed was actually part an older basilica. Recent excavations under l'Hotel d'Arlatan, as it's named, revealed 1st-century B.C. artifacts, some of which are on display by means of a glass floor in the lobby. Cool place! (It's a 3-star hotel, very nice.)
