Meeting authors and buying their books at the Authors Corner, including friend Gia Koontz ("Harriet Quimby Scrapbook"), Julie Clark ("Nothing Stood In Her Way") and Debra Winegarten ("Katherine Stinson")
Watching everyone dash around in the rain, looking for cover in the various booths, halls and tents. We were in the AOPA tent (bright yellow) and the staff handed out yellow ponchos to everyone; there was a yellow cast everywhere!
