Part 2b

The Party at our House

Thank goodness for cell phones. We were able to communicate with each other and friends so easily, setting up dates and meeting places, comparing notes, asking what we saw today, etc.

We all got along GREAT in our little house—12 people with 2 bathrooms and 8 beds! Two slept in the basement rec room and two put their mattresses in the office. Chuck and I got the "master bedroom" with the King waterbed since we organized the whole thing. We cooked breakfast and dinner almost daily and took sack lunches, all to save on the expensive meals at the air show. Luckily we had two gals who were used to shopping and cooking for a large group. Everyone pitched in to help.
