1994 - Wedding Picture
As a bonus ornament for this year, I made one to commemorate our
wedding. This is basically just a picture frame, but it has a lot of
meaning.
The picture is of the wedding site, and the reverse side is homemade
paper that we used for the guest list. The silver crane is one of the
1001 cranes that are traditional for weddings in Hawaii. Finally, we
had white silk roses made to hold birdseed (rather than rice) for
throwing. The white silk border is from one of these roses, while the
pink ribbon loop is from a bow on the rose.
