Research
Cave stellarum observatorem!

Moonset over the McGraw-Hill 1.3m telescope at MDM Observatory, Kitt Peak, AZ.

Current:

I am working with Dr. Drake Deming, determining the average albedo of small exoplanets in the Kepler archive data.

My CV is here.

Previously:

I worked with Dr. Jessica Sunshine, looking for signatures of water/hydroxyl in Deep Impact data of the Lunar south pole.

I did my second year project with Dr. Alberto Bolatto, looking at optical spectra of dusty B stars in the Small Magellanic Cloud.

At Dartmouth College, I worked with Dr. John Thorstensen, determining orbital periods of cataclysmic variables.

At Gettysburg College, I did my senior thesis work with Dr. Laurence Marschall on the eclipsing binary V1061 Cygni, building light curves and modelling the system.
