Next: THE GRADING POLICY

Previous: No Title
- All lab and discussion sections will start promptly at the
assigned time. If you arrive late to the section, you may miss
material which may not be covered again. It will be your
responsibility to make up for the lost material by asking one of
your fellow students. There will be no make-ups for missing points
due to late arrival or absence. If you miss a section, and you have
not made arrangements with me beforehand, you may still attend
another discussion section but you will not be credited with any
points during that week's discussion section. As always, extreme
circumstances such as severe illness, death in the family etc. will
be considered when an excuse is submitted in writing within one week
of missing the discussion section.
- Please put your name, your section number, the date, page number
(as in page 1 of 10 say) and a title for the assignment on each page
of work that you turn in. As with the homework assignments, all lab
and discussion assignments must be handed in at the appropriate
times.
- All graded assignments will be placed in your individual folders
in the filing cabinet outside my office. I will make an
announcement either in lecture or in the discussion section when the
assignments have been marked and placed in the folders. Please pick
them up as soon as possible after the announcement and come to the
next discussion, lab, office hour prepared to discuss your incorrect
answers. In general, assignments will be graded within one week
after they have been collected.
