Due to criticisms by others about these pages not reflecting the complete picture of this department, I have decided to emphasize that this letter by no means reflects the views of all who are in the Astronomy Department. In fact, it is quite incomplete and needs to have many sections added and subtracted and modified from it. In the time being, these are the views of Kartik Sheth and Yan Fernandez and theirs alone!!!
