Dust moves in predictable ways throughout the Solar System. A cometary grain's path in space is determined by gravity from the sun and planets, solar radiation pressure, and the particular kick it receives from the comet gas as it leaves the nucleus. As part of my thesis work, I wrote a suite of programs to simulate and analyze the dynamics of comet dust, which I called the CometSuite.
