Interesting Links and Material to Help You Out
If you think there's something missing, by all means email me and I will
(probably) add it to this page.
Cosmology Web Sites of Potential Interest
Check for specific links in Comments after Lectures which is a separate
webpage for most of my "extra" notes.
-
Ned Wright's Cosomology Tutorial. One of the best and certainly one of the
earliest web resources on cosmology. Loads of bells and whistles. Pitched at
an undergraduate's level.
-
Cole Miller's Astronomy 422 class webpage. I'm not ashamed to admit that
I'm borrowing heavily from Cole's class since 1) he used the same book and
2) he's a damn fine teacher. I will change some things around, of course, so
this is not an invitation to miss class.
- Wayne Hu's
homepage which has some nice descriptions and animations regarding the CMB.
- Stephen Kent's
webpage which has a nice "Cosmology 101" section (scroll down), but it
is at a somewhat advanced level.
More links as I think of 'em. Or as you think of 'em and email me.
