Example MMTF spectral scans

These are MMTF scans through somewhat more than 1 free spectral range, using the Kr and Xe lamps in IMACS and the NB8200 (8180/150) blocking filter. They are provided to aid in line identification.

Values of order, FSR, dw/dz from fitting spectra taken with IMACS:

Summary table for 8200 A:
#
#zc zfine dwdz fsr fwhm order-num plate-spacing
# (A/z) A A microns
-2 1.92 0.405 352 21 23.2 9.5
+1 1.92 0.305 265 14 30.8 12.6
+3 1.92 0.264 227 12 35.8 14.6

The x-axis of the following plots is CS-100 z setting. The FSR of the etalon is about 870 in z at 8200 A (independent of order).

Front panel Z was --2, 1.92. Both Kr and Xe lamps were on, 1 sec exposures; the Xe line is the weakest. The lines are Kr 8190.1, Xe 8231.64, Kr 8112.9, Kr 8190.1, Xe 8231.64.
