Chris Reynolds

 
 

I am a Professor in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as a Fellow (and former Director) of the Joint Space Science Institute (JSI).  I also currently serve as the Chair of the High Energy Astrophysics Division (HEAD) of the American Astronomical Society(AAS).  My research interests span a wide range of topics in high-energy astrophysics including the properties of black holes, accretion physics, the physics of jets, and the physics of the hot plasma in galaxy clusters.  Please explore these pages to find out about me, my research group and my teaching activities.
