CONCERNING THE EXTENT OF THE A-ARRAY Both Nick and Steve Scott have looked into the possible size of the A-array. Based on the topography of the region, they concluded that maximum baselines of ~2 km are reasonably possible. Longer baselines are less practical: there are serious geographic constraints and the inclusion of larger area is likely to complicate the EIS. Can we all agree on ~2km extent as the target maximum size for the current A-array? Unless I hear different, I'll assume that this is acceptable to all. cheers, Lee
