I am a third year graduate student in the Astronomy Department at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Originally from Sacramento, CA, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astrophysics at the University of California, Berkeley.
I did my Master's work here at Maryland studying molecular clouds in the interstellar medium with advising from Prof. Lee Mundy.
I am currently working with Xander Tielens, Marc Pound, and Mark Wolfire on obtaining kinematic and energetic information from SOFIA [CII] observations of PDRs.
You can find me in my office, ATL 1239, or online at www.ramseykarim.com.
