Still anecdotal, but in order to process PdB data with the IRAM15M
dishes, note these comments from Andrew Baker (June 24, 2002):

"manually editing the header of the FITS file so that it has the correct
TELESCOP= 'IRAM15M' setting (before loading into MIRIAD), rather than
doing it with puthd (after loading into MIRIAD), seems to prevent all of
the problems with mosaicing downstream.  The antenna table and
latitude/longitude values are still crap, however, so we will keep our
eyes peeled for additional glitches."
