Hi, I'm Isiah (he/him)! I am originally from West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. I am currently a PhD candidate in the astronomy department at the University of Maryland and a Pathways Intern at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, studying neutron star radii using synthetic data from the X-ray telescope Neutron Star Interior Composition Explorer (NICER). I have recently completed the NASA JPL Astrophysics Mission Design School, an intensive program where graduate students and postdocs work in a team to design a space-based astrophysics mission under the guidance of NASA experts.
