TABLE NOTES
- The Zfine values listed above in computer units apply
at the optical axis for the default instrument Zfine value
of 4.10 entered into the CS-100.
- The free spectral range (FSR) and FWHM in Z-space at ~6800 Å
are 729 and 21, respectively. These values do not depend on plate
spacing. The former is accurate to 1% or better. The latter is
for an optimized parallelism; values for individual setups may be
higher by ~10-20% because of the precision limits of the
parallelization procedure. Accordingly, the FWHM in wavelength space
is only reproducible at the 10-20% level.
- Fractional orders are caused by small phase shifts due to the
reflective coating on the etalon mirrors.
