Detailed Description

Rich description of a frame grabbed image.

As a real live example, suppose we want to retrieve an image from an OVRO framegrabber with a width of 100 px and a height of 200 px at MEDIUM_RES (

We would first call setFramegrabberResolution(MEDIUM_RES), we'd then call setFrameDimensions(100, 200, 0, 0) and finally grabFrame() which returns a flattenedOpticalImage. The retrieved image would contain the following: xRes==400, yRes==640, x==100, y==200, xMax==480, yMax==768 and res==MEDIUM_RES. Note that the uncropped image dimensions (xRes, yRes) and (xMax, yMax) increase when the image is rotated as the rotated image encloses all of the unrotated image adding extra area with a pixel value of zero.
