Elizabeth spends half her time on Deep Impact as co-curator for the website and as liaison to the amateur astronomy community (http://deepimpact.umd.edu/amateur/). In addition, she serves as webmaster for the internal science site for the science team. Within the department, Elizabeth is also coordinator for service learning projects in the College Park Scholars Science, Discovery and the Universe program (http://www.sdu.umd.edu) (sponsored by the Astronomy Department). She is also the director of the campus observatory.
