Title: SOFIA Community Day
The goal of this Community Day Workshop is to provide support for researchers who are interested in proposing for SOFIA during the NASA- funded SOFIA Cycle 6 Call for Proposals. SOFIA is a NASA/DLR observatory lofting a 2.5m diameter telescope into the stratosphere in a Boeing 747 aircraft. The deadline for proposal submission is June 30, 2017. The workshop will cover the observatory capabilities and proposal preparation.
