Scientific Cooperation with Côte d'Azur Observatory
In 2008, our department established an agreement with Côte d'Azur Observatory in France in which our two institutions will "deepen cooperation and exchanges of mutual interests" (specifically planetology and solar system studies, cosmology, celestial mechanics, and modeling/simulation of astrophysical objects and processes) through collaborative research, exchange programs, etc. The current agreement is in effect through the end of 2020. Dr. Derek Richardson is the Department of Astronomy's primary contact person.
