My work focuses on astrophysics research software and the entire ecosytem around research software. I am the Editor of the Astrophysics Source Code Library (ASCL), and I have organized sessions on software at AAS, EAS, and ADASS meetings. I participate in various cross-disciplinary efforts such as CodeMeta, CITATION.cff, and Research Data Alliance to improve software citation, research transparency, and recognition for those who enable science with their computational contributions. I founded the SciCodes consortium, and am one of the organizers of the Virtual Astronomy Software Talks (VAST) seminar series. I am a member of the International Astronomical Union, and a member and Fellow of the American Astronomical Society. I'm also on the Astronomy Picture of the Day Evaluation and Advisory Committee.
