Ankita Bera is a CTC Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Astronomy, University of Maryland. Before joining UMD, Ankita earned her Ph.D. in astrophysics from Presidency University in India. During her PhD period, she did a pre-doctoral program at the CCA, Flatiron Institute in New York. Ankita's research interests include semi-analytical modeling of reionization, exploring 21-cm cosmology, and analyzing hydrodynamical simulations to study high-redshift galaxies. She is part of the SKA India, the SKAO Cosmology/ Epoch of Reionization Science Working Group, and the Learning the Universe (LtU) collaboration.
