Dr. Bhattacharya works on detection of wide orbit exoplanets using microlensing method. She is currently working on with planning and preparation of NASA's next flagship mission, Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, which is on schedule to launch in October, 2026. She is an essential part of the team that builds pipeline to do image analysis of Roman Galactic bulge Exoplanet Survey. Her work primarily focuses on mass measurements of the exoplanets and their hosts. She has worked on Hubble Space Telescope and Keck 10m Telescope (Hawaii) images before to develop the mass measurement methods.
