I am a space physicist specializing in magnetic reconnection and plasma dynamics in Earth's magnetosphere and the solar wind. My research focuses on understanding fundamental plasma processes through numerical simulations and spacecraft data analysis. I earned my Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA in 2017, studying electron and ion acceleration during magnetotail reconnection. As a postdoctoral fellow at West Virginia University and later a research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, I developed diagnostic techniques using kinetic entropy to analyze non-equilibrium plasma behavior. Currently, I continue to investigate energy conversion processes in the states deviated from local thermal equilibrium during weakly-collisional/collisionless magnetic reconnection.
