I am a graduate student at the University of Maryland studying dust and star formation in nearby starburst galaxies with Dr. Alberto Bolatto. I enjoy studying all aspects of the baryonic cycle in galaxies, though the impact of dust in star forming environments holds a special place in my heart. I received my B.S. in physics and astronomy from the University of Kansas in 2024, graduating with departmental honors. My undergraduate work was completed under the direction of Dr. Elisabeth Mills. I am originally from Wichita, Kansas
