I’m Keyi Ding (丁可怿), a graduate student in astronomy at the University of Maryland, College Park. My research focuses on near-field cosmology, where I use resolved stellar populations in the Local Group to investigate the formation histories of galaxies and the evolution of the universe. I work with both simulations and observational data to study the dynamics and chemical compositions of stars, aiming to uncover how galaxies have assembled over cosmic time and how they connect to the broader picture of structure formation.
