JWST General Observer Programs in Cycle 3 Selected

Three proposals from University of Maryland astronomers were selected for JWST’s third year of science operations. Approximately 5,500 hours of prime time and up to 1,000 hours of parallel time—as well as 25 archival and 12 theory proposals—were awarded to observing programs in Cycle 3.

Eliza Kempton, Sylvain Veilleux, and Matthew Nixon are PIs, along with former CTC Fellow Shmuel Bialy. Other familiar names on the PI/co-PI list are Jinji Yang, Feige Wang, Adina Feinstein, and Megan Mansfield. Congratulations to all!
