Title: "Wellness Workshop: Managing Imposter Syndrome"

Learn what imposter syndrome is, why it occurs, and the skills to work on overcoming it, so you can go from self-doubt to confidence. Led by an expert from the UMD Counseling Center. Note: The expert will be on Zoom, as will be some students from other departments; to participate remotely on Zoom, you must pre-register at (choose option Resilience and Adaptability - THursdays 4:00 pm and register for Oct 20). We will also participate as a group in PSC 1136 - we have already registered for this. The workshop will begin at 4 pm on the hour. All faculty and students are encouraged to attend!

The Astronomy Department's BANG! Seminar (Better Astronomy for the New Generation!) features speakers and discussions on issues of equity and inclusion, career paths, and soft skills for astronomers.
