Title: "Discussion on Mentoring"

With conversations regarding effective mentoring becoming more prevalent within the department, this week’s BANG! will be a community-based discussion on different aspects of mentoring. This will include an overview of the mentoring document produced for the Graduate School by members of the department and other interactive activities to exchange ideas and better integrate discussions mentoring into department culture.

The Astronomy Department's BANG! Seminar (Better Astronomy for the New Generation!) features speakers and discussions on issues of equity and inclusion, career paths, and soft skills for astronomers.
