Milena Crnogorčević (she/her) is a sixth-year PhD candidate interested in high-energy astroparticle physics. She is working with Dr. Regina Caputo and Dr. Manuel Meyer on indirect dark matter searches using the data from NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. The main focus of Milena's research pertains to axions and axion-like particles (ALPs) in core-collapse supernovae, with the goal of establishing constraints on the ALP-photon coupling. In addition to her main research interest regarding ALPs, Milena is also occupied with the current multimessenger efforts: she works both with the IceCube data (cross-correlating the astrophysical neutrinos with the gamma-ray sky), as well as LIGO/Virgo observations (Swift-BAT follow-up analysis of the LIGO/Virgo gravitational-wave triggers).
