I am currently studying the active star-forming cluster NGC 1333, also called Perseus. One project I am working on the mapping of the cluster using CARMA in order to obtain a better understanding of the distribution of Young StellarObjects (YSOs), prostars, and dense gas. We will observe and map the HNC, HCO+, SiO, and N2H+ lines, that will complement former studies of the same region of our galaxy, and provide a good insight on how the star formation occurs and interacts with the natal cloud core. |
